The daughter of a couple buried in a Suffolk graveyard is "relieved" a council had revised plans for works at the site.
Janice Daly had feared weeding beds and removing all dead and dying roses at Memorial Rose Garden in Framlingham would result in the ashes of her parents Jim and Jean Nunn having to be moved.
But the design changes will mean that all existing rose beds will remain in their current positions, while a new boundary fence will be repositioned to create a walkway along the back edge of the left hand bed.
She said it took "an involved member of the public" to bring the concerns to their attention.
Mrs Daly added: "I am relieved that they have seen some sense and realisation that you cannot just do something of this magnitude without looking into the legalities."
