Many people who receive benefits from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will notice a number of payment changes over the coming weeks. DWP benefits are normally transferred straight into a chosen bank or building society account on a frequent basis.

Typically this means funds land once monthly, every four weeks, or fortnightly, based on which benefit(s) you're entitled to. But the dates will change if your usual date falls on a bank holiday - and there are two of these this month.
