Forecasters predict a turbulent week of wet weather in Kent, though a previous warning for heavy showers has now been stepped down.
On Friday, November 28, the Met Office announced a yellow weather warning for rain which covered most of Kent as the nation braced for persistent downpours over the weekend and start of the new week.
Due to have come into effect at 8am this morning (December 1), the warning has since been updated and no longer covers the county as the worst of the rain is now anticipated in the south west and over Wales, where an amber warning has been issued.
While a warning is now no longer planned for Kent today, the latest forecasts still predict plenty of rain falling throughout the afternoon and overnight.
