As life and work take their toll, it is easy to lose our sense of fun, and to stop believing in the magic of living in the moment.

While the process of “growing up” happens gradually and mainly unconsciously it’s important to remember that how you do it is a choice.

Just because you’re an adult doesn’t mean the fun has to stop.

No matter how terrible, serious, mundane or irritating your circumstances are, there is always fun and humour to be found.

Next time you notice yourself frowning, judging, whinging or catastrophising, remind yourself that you are choosing that reaction, and instead you could choose a smile, a chuckle, acceptance, praise or trust.
