A huge Marvel Cinematic Universe movie could have had a very different filmmaker had things played out differently in Phase 4. The Multiverse Saga is nearing its end, following several films and TV shows since 2021.

During her appearance on The Town with Matthew Belloni , Chloé Zhao revealed that Eternals was not the first MCU film she had initially been contacted about. Zhao explained, "I went in at first for Black Widow, and then there was a scheduling conflict."
