16-year-old dies at hospital after her car crashes in Union County, coroner says

UNION COUNTY, S.C. —

A 16-year-old from Union County, South Carolina, died when her car crashed over the weekend.

The Union County Coroner's Office said the crash happened about 8:40 p.m. Sunday.

Skyy Edwards, 16, of Carlisle, died at the hospital, the coroner's office said.

Authorities said this was a single-vehicle crash.
