ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) -A man has been arrested after officials said he crashed a truck into a building Saturday night in Rock Island.
Rock Island Police said they responded to a traffic accident after 11:30 Saturday night at 350 44th street.
After an investigation, officers said a black 2019 Ford truck was traveling west on 4th avenue and did not successfully turn onto 44th street, hitting the building causing heavy damage.
Officers located 64-year-old Russell Arlen in the truck.
Officers said Arlen was taken to a nearby hospital after being extricated from the truck.
He was arrested and faces charges of aggravated driving under the influence and obstruction of justice.
He remains in the Rock Island County Jail.
