OMAHA, Neb. —
Light snow showers are expected throughout the morning for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa. Omaha's Weather Leader as deemed Monday as an impact weather day.
Light snow is expected before noon Monday. Though snow totals are looking low, additional snow over already slick roadways could make hazardous travel possible across the Omaha metro.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri until 6 p.m. Monday. During this time, new snowfall amounts up to 3 inches are possible for the advised areas. Up to 1 inch of new snow is possible along and north of I-80, included for the Omaha metro.
