Twelve months have officially passed, and we are saying goodbye to 2025 with the final full moon of the year.
The December full moon will peak Dec. 4. It's extra special this year because it’s a supermoon. This means the moon is at or near its closest point to Earth in its orbit and full at the same time. When this happens, the moon can appear up to 14% larger and about 30% brighter than “average.”
