CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Virginia and NC State will make history in 2026 as the two ACC programs head to Brazil for College Football Brasil, the first college football game ever played in South America. The Cavaliers and Wolfpack will launch the 2026 season in a Week 0 matchup on Aug. 29, 2026, at Nilton Santos Stadium (Engenhão) in Rio de Janeiro.
The game will air nationally on an ESPN network, with additional streaming plans still being finalized.
