Despite being shorthanded and on the second night of a back-to-back, the Boston Celtics picked up an upset 117-115 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night. Per usual, Jaylen Brown played a major role in this win, just not in the way we have become accustomed to seeing from him.
With Jayson Tatum still recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, Brown has taken his game to another level this season, as he’s averaging a career-high 28.4 points per game through his first 20 contests. Against the Cavs, though, Brown recorded the fourth triple-double of his career, scoring 19 points, hauling in 12 rebounds and dishing out 11 assists.
