The 6-foot-3.5, 210-pound sophomore has already collected scholarship offers from nearly every powerhouse program in college football. And just a few months ago, Florida State appeared to be firmly in the mix for his services. But something changed over the course of FSU’s 2025 season. Amid Florida State’s 40-21 loss to rival Florida, Brysen’s father, Colby Wright, posted a tweet that cut straight to the heart of the program’s current crisis. He wrote, “Not being able talk to my son about going to FSU saddens me greatly……”
