Valley Metro riders are more satisfied with the transit system and have felt improvements in security and cleanliness, according to a recent survey of more than 1,100 riders. The improved rider experience is also paired with a drop in rail security incidents, year over year, by more than 50%.
“The progress we’re seeing reflects the strong partnerships we’ve built with our police departments and the hard work of our teams to ensure that every rider has a positive experience,” stated Valley Metro RPTA Board Chair and Tempe Councilmember Jennifer Adams in a news release.
