Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found in a Southfield hotel's parking lot on Sunday.
Southfield police and medics were called at about 2:47 a.m. Sunday to the parking lot of the Radisson Hotel on Telegraph Road near M-10 for a report of a shooting, officials said.
They arrived and found a 40-year-old Detroit man with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot, according to authorities.
Hospital staff later pronounced him deceased.
Investigators said they believe the victim was targeted, and the suspect remains at large.
