Sidney Ann Potter, age 85, of Prospect Street, Fillmore, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025, at the Houghton Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Sidney was born in Fillmore, a daughter of the late Ivan and Marjorie Silliman Vedder. She graduated from Fillmore Central in 1958 and married the love of her life, Melvin L. Potter, on Aug. 8, 1958. They remained in Fillmore their entire lives, raising a beautiful family together.

Sidney had a vibrant love for life and a joyful love for shopping. She adored and cherished her children and grandchildren and tended to her flowers and yard with the same care and love she poured into her family.
