FAYETTEVILLE — Bryant 4-star linebacker Jakore Smith committed to Arkansas football and new head coach Ryan Silverfield on Monday.

Smith, 6-1 and 195 pounds, committed too Oklahoma in the spring over Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Central Florida and others. He recently reopened his recruitment.

Smith has recorded 60 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 3 interceptions, 3 recovered fumbles and 2 defensive touchdowns.

ESPN rates Smith a 3-star recruit and the nation's No. 9 inside linebacker.
