A top police officer sent pictures of his penis and face to a female PC and begged to meet up with her outside of work after he got hold of her personal number.
Rob Cousen, who rose to become the commander of Greater Manchester Police’s Tameside division, took early retirement just hours before a disciplinary hearing concluded that he was to be sacked.
The brave victim came forward and reported Chief Superintendent Cousen after he sent her unsolicited photographs to her between February and May 2022.
The panel found evidence that top cop earning £100,000-a-year did this on more than two occasions but Cousen denied it took place for two years. Deputy Chief Constable Terry Woods said Cousen’s actions w’ere totally out of order’.
