TOWN OF SPRING GREEN, Wis. (WMTV) - A driver is dead after a crash Friday on Highway 14 in Sauk County, deputies reported over the weekend.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office determined a GMC Sierra was heading westbound on Highway 14 Friday when it drove into the eastbound lane and hit a trailer being pulled by a GMC Yukon.

Deputies responded just before 8 p.m. to the crash on Highway 14, near Dyke Road, in the Town of Spring Green.

Sauk County deputies determined the driver of the GMC Sierra had died.

Officials took those in the GMC Yukon to a hospital for injuries they suffered in the crash. The agency did not indicate how many people were hurt or the severity of those injuries.

The names of those involved were also not released.
