RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a man died following a shooting on Fairfield Road last week.

Deputies say they were called to the 5300 block of Fairfield Road around 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025, after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, deputies found a man inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

EMS transported the victim to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
