The deceased has been identified as Stephanie Selecky-Banfield of Coolbaugh Township. She was pronounced dead at the scene just after 1:40 a.m. Friday, said Monroe County Coroner Tom Yanac.
Yanac said an autopsy is pending to determine Selecky-Banfield‘s cause and manner of death.
Pocono Mountain Regional police, along with crews from Thornhurst Volunteer Fire Company, Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company and other fire agencies, responded at 5:40 p.m. Thursday to the home in the 2000 block of Locust Ridge Road.
