Are Portland’s days of being known as a “war zone” finally behind us?!

Maybe! Because, according to a new report from Wallet Hub , we have a new sobriquet to try out: “One of the ten most fun cities in the United States of America.”

OK, it might not roll off the tongue like “war zone,” but it’s probably more accurate.

That’s right, fellow citizens of the Rose City, Portland is officially the ninth most fun city in the entire country. More fun, and this is official, than Seattle, Los Angeles or even New York City.

What makes us so much more fun than those cities that are usually considered incredibly fun?

Well, it appears we are good in sort of an average sense. While we may rank 108th when it comes to cost, we’re ninth when it comes to nightlife and parties, 10th in restaurants
