One person was shot and killed Monday morning in the Chinatown International District, Seattle police said.
Police initially reported that the person was injured by gunfire around 8 a.m. on the 400 block of Rainier Avenue South, Seattle police spokesperson Patrick Michaud said.
The person has since died of their injuries. Police are searching for the shooter but have not found them, Michaud said.
