Still want to travel without a REAL ID? You'll soon be charged a fee for that.

The Transportation Security Administration announced Monday that passengers who do not present an acceptable form of ID and still want to fly will have an option to pay a $45 fee "to use a modernized alternative identity verification system, TSA Confirm.ID, to establish identity at security checkpoints."

When will it start?

According to a news release from the TSA, the use of TSA Confirm.ID and a $45 fee to use this identity verification will begin on Feb. 1.
