BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating the death of an infant in West Baltimore, officials told WMAR-2 News Monday.

Officers responded to the 2100 block of Presbury Street for reports of an unresponsive infant.

The child, an 8-month-old girl, was taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

Detectives and crime technicians later responded to the scene.

Police say the incident is not being investigated as a suspicious death at this time.
