ACCESS, a Summit County homeless shelter that serves both women and children, is one of 32 organizations nationwide receiving financial funding from Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sánchez Bezos' Day 1 Families Fund, the organization announced.

The gift, totaling $1.25 million, is the largest in the nonprofit's history, officials announced.
