SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - The City of South Bend says it has postponed leaf pickup until further notice after this weekend’s snowfall.
Officials say vacuum trucks clog frequently when leaves are covered in snow and temperatures are below freezing.
Therefore, the city says temperatures must remain consistently above freezing for pickup to resume.
