MT. CARMEL, Ill. (WFIE) - The work is complete on River’s Edge Bar & Grill in Mount Carmel.

We told you early last summer about the plans to open up a new restaurant in the former Twin Rivers building on Hydraulic Avenue.

The grand opening is now set for Wednesday, December 3.

Hours for the new restaurant will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Owners say it will be a place to grab food and drinks and occasionally hear local bands, all with the Wabash River in the background.
