DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Daviess County Public Schools is preparing for what could be the first snow/NTI day of the year.
Monday, the school district announced that they are distributing materials for DCPS@Home (NTI) for the current school year.
They say due to the possibility of inclement weather overnight, early-morning road checks will be necessary before making a decision on if school will be in-person or not.
According to DCPS, a separate message will be sent out to parents if school is canceled or delayed.
The school district also notes:
The district plans for Grades Pre-K - 5 to utilize the folder sent home for assignments.
Grades 6-12 will complete assignments through an online resource that can be found at DCPS.org.
