Alary's Bar in downtown St. Paul is bringing in new food in the New Year.

Petey's BBQ recently announced that it's ending its residency at the sports bar on Dec. 26 after more than a year.

"We started this kitchen residency as a bold idea to connect amazing food with Alary’s new energy, and all of us worked incredibly hard to make it work, but it’s time for a new change," the 76-year-old bar wrote in a social media post on Sunday.

Alary's temporarily closed in 2023 and fully reopened under new ownership a year later. It has remained a Chicago Bears bar since its launch in 1949.

"Alary’s will have an exciting kitchen announcement that we will share soon," the bar wrote. "Until then, the doors are open, the drinks are flowing and the pit is fired."
