New Auburn head football coach Alex Golesh’s introductory press conference featured a wide variety of questions.

From his coaching staff to recruiting to why he chose Auburn, Golesh received all the typical questions that a head coach gets on Day 1. Then came the important stuff.

“Do you like to play golf,” asked on reporter, eliciting a few chuckles from the audience.

Golesh, calling it a “setup question,” gave the response the crowd was looking for.

"I like football more than golf," Golesh said. “And I’m terrible.”

Golesh mentioned that his son, daughter and wife all like to play golf, but not him. That was refreshing to hear for Auburn fans, after excessive golfing became a storyline with the Tigers’ previous head coach.
