WAUKESHA, Wis. — The attorney for Morgan Geyser, who nearly stabbed a classmate to death to please the fictional character Slender Man, has asked a Waukesha County court to have her moved back to a mental health facility.

Geyser, 23, left a group home on Madison's southwest side last month, prompting a nationwide search. She was arrested in Illinois and returned to the Waukesha County Jail last week.

Geyser's attorney on Monday requested the Waukesha County Circuit Court to release her back to the Winnebago Mental Health Facility, as no new criminal charges have been filed for her recent actions.
