St. Clair County sheriff deputies were called to Lake Huron Medical Center in Port Huron after a male arrived with a stab wound to the chest Thanksgiving afternoon, Nov. 28.
Police said the victim’s girlfriend had stabbed him and struck him over the head with a blunt object. The man has since been discharged from the hospital, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies responded to Catawba Drive in Burtchville Township and took Taylor Spigner, 28, into custody. She was arraigned on the following charges in 72 District Court on Monday, Dec. 1. Bond was set at $250,000 cash/surety.
She has been charged with attempted murder, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, assault with a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanors domestic violence.
