CATA to cut Route 3 Extension in Delta Twp. in January

DELTA TWP. — The Capital Area Transportation Authority will cut operations in Delta Township next month in the wake of a failed public transit millage proposal.

Among the cuts are pilot programs such as the Route 3 Extension to Marketplace Boulevard and the expanded Spec-Tran service, which will revert to their pre-extension boundaries before May 2023, CATA announced on Monday, Dec. 1. The cuts will take effect on Monday, Jan. 12.
