Philadelphia, PA – A $1 million Powerball ticket sold at a Philadelphia Wawa is now among the top prize winners in the latest drawing as the multi-state jackpot soars past $700 million.
The ticket was sold at Wawa, located at 9101 Frankford Avenue, and matched five white balls — 7, 8, 15, 19, and 28 — in the Wednesday, November 26 Powerball drawing. It missed only the red Powerball, number 3, to fall just short of the $740 million jackpot, which remains up for grabs in tonight’s drawing.
The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The prize is subject to standard federal and state tax withholdings.
