China has banned pork from Spain because of African Swine Fever found in two wild boars, the first report of the disease there since 1994.

Last year, Spain was China’s number one source of pork imports at a value of 999.42 million euros. This year, Spanish exports had been even stronger at a billion Canadian dollars.
There is speculation that China will buy more from the United States.
