It is estimated that around 10,000 locals and holiday visitors joined in the annual Holly Days celebration in Downtown Vernal on the day after Thanksgiving. “The weather was sunny and with mild temperatures which encouraged a larger turnout,” shares Vernal City Manager Quinn Bennion. “Many thanks to the 50 business sponsors that make the event possible at no cost to participants. The organizing committee is composed of representatives of area entities from Vernal City, Uintah County, Rec District, BTA, Ashley Regional, Tri-County Health and Chamber.”

The one-day community event features dozens of activities spread between five locations: Cobblerock Park area, County building, Western Park / Conference Center, Ashley Regional Christmas Village, and Santa’s Workshop at the Vernal Middle Sc
