President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth revealed new details about a strike on an alleged drug boat in September that has sparked intense criticism and calls for investigations.

The two spoke at the final Cabinet meeting of the year at the White House on Tuesday. At the end of the meeting, both men addressed a Washington Post report that said the military launched a follow-up strike on Sept. 2 that killed two survivors of an initial attack.
