A Warren, RI man died late Monday night when he lost control of and flipped his 2018 Dodge Challenger on Horseneck Road, near Old Horseneck Road.

Zane Martin, 37, of Warren, was pronounced dead shortly after being extricated from the wreck by Westport Fire Department first responders, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said. There was no word on the cause of the accident. Westport Police Chief Christopher Dunn declined to comment, as the case is currently under the jurisdiction of the Massachusetts State Police.

State officials said Martin was the car’s only occupant.
