The Nevada Humane Society is hosting a free spay and neuter clinic in Reno for Washoe County residents on Saturday, Dec. 6 and Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2825 Longley Lane, Suite B.
Procedures for cats and dogs will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and households will be limited to two pets. The pets must be healthy, and more than 4 months old.
More than 100 spots will be awarded. You can register at www.nevadahumanesociety.org/freefix . If a certain pet species or size is full, families may still join the waitlist.
Pets will receive a free spay or neuter surgery, a pre-surgery exam, post-procedure medication, and a microchip plus core vaccines as needed.
The free clinic days are funded by a grant from the Jason Hiegl Foundation.
