A collector has cashed in big time after he traded a Pokémon card for the largest trade-in payout in GameStop history.

The company known for its massive library of video games, consoles, electronics and gaming merchandise announced this week that a customer in Grapevine, Texas traded in PSA 10 Holographic Gengar and received a record $30,494.70 payout.

The “historic” deal is GameStop’s most valuable single trade-in ever, the company said in a statement.

“Any trolls who publicly claim that GameStop trade-in values are bad are hereby factually and demonstrably incorrect,” a statement said. “Any prior and ongoing objections to our trade values are now deemed without merit and factually invalid.”
