While most of the recent focus about the struggling Eagles has been on the offensive side of the football, the defense has had its own set of issues recently.

After giving up a season-high 473 total yards in a loss at Dallas , the Eagles were torched for 281 rushing yards and 425 yards on Black Friday loss at home to the Chicago Bears.

That name Tuesday was none other than Darius Slay , the former Eagles cornerback who signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason after being released by the Eagles.

Slay, who will be 35 on New Year’s Day, started the first nine games for the Steelers this season before being benched in favor of James Pierre in Week 1
