The Boston Bruins are set to receive a boost to their lineup.
Forward Viktor Arvidsson was activated off injured reserve on Tuesday, the team announced.
Arvidsson has been out since Nov. 15 with a lower-body injury.
The 32-year-old has played 20 games in his first season with the Bruins after an off-season trade from the Edmonton Oilers, recording six goals and four assists.
He could potentially play as soon as Tuesday when the Bruins visit the Detroit Red Wings.
Despite Arvidsson’s absence, the Bruins sit second in the Atlantic Division with 30 points in 27 games.
