A Corinth man has been charged with armed robbery after an incident at the Mall at Barnes Crossing, according to the Tupelo Police Department.

On November 30, 2025, officers were called to 1001 Barnes Crossing Road in reference to a reported armed robbery. When they arrived, they spoke with an employee at The Children’s Place, who told officers that a man had approached her and said, “This is an armed robbery, don’t move.”

Police say the suspect did not display a weapon but kept his hands in his pockets during the interaction. The employee notified her store manager, and mall security was called.
