A cockroach infestation and a buildup of grime and food debris in areas that are hard to reach were the official reasons for First Street Market’s closure by AHS .

AHS also ordered the market to hire a pest control service to exterminate the infestation, safely dispose of all cockroach remains, disinfect all surfaces affected by cockroach activity, discard food debris and sanitize all containers, utensils, floors, walls and ceilings
