Concerns from a citizen led Lake County's commissioners to postpone dotting the i's and crossing the t's on a bridge removal in Summit Township during a Dec. 2 meeting.

Glenn Engebraaten, a county resident, told commissioners during public comment he was concerned removing the bridge would open up the creek and increase the risk of washing out the bay. He added he was working with Summit Township to vacate the road and hoped to leave the bridge. ×
