WDSU First Alert Weather Impact Days: Thursday and Friday. We are looking at the potential for heavy rain and flash flooding Thursday and Friday.
We could see a couple of inches of rain as this next system moves in. Widespread 1-3" of rain likely. Hot spots of 3-5" possible, especially along coastal parishes. The severe risk appears low, but an isolated severe storm with gusty winds or small hail possible.
Timing: Rain starts overnight Wednesday-Thursday morning and continues
