LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It hasn’t been 24 hours since Will Stein was named the new head coach of Kentucky football, but the buzz surrounding “Stein Time” has energized Big Blue Nation.

Excitement was buzzing over at Sissy Cakes on Fairfax Avenue on a snowy Tuesday in St. Matthews, especially from one of the people in Stein's life who knows him best.

The bakery specializing in pound cakes is co-owned by Stein’s mother, Debbie.

Wearing her Kentucky Wildcats sweatshirt while assisting customers, she was all smiles because of Will’s major accomplishment.

“It’s really hard to put into words how excited we are – times a million!” she said.

Debbie said she knew William, as she affectionately calls him, wanted to be a head coach and that was one of his goals.
