Overnight snowfall in Northern Kentucky led to clear roads by morning, but residents faced challenges navigating slushy conditions.

Boone County crews made significant progress clearing roads, and the sheriff's department reported no major accidents.

Francis Erne, an NKY resident, had to brave the conditions on his motorized scooter to pay his rent in person at Walmart, a couple of miles from his home.

"It's scary at times, especially when someone wants to play chicken," Erne said. Despite the challenges, Erne said, "fortunately, it's just once a month."
