WASHINGTON D.C., Ohio (WOIO) - A Holmes County man was indicted Tuesday on four counts of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with minors in Haiti.

According to court documents, 44-year-old Jeriah Mast, of Millersburg, traveled from the United States to Haiti multiple times between 2002 and 2019, including with the organization Christian Aid Ministries (CAM), and sexually abused minors.

In 2021, Christian Aid Ministries had 17 of its missionaries kidnapped by a gang in Haiti.

In 2019, the aid group came under scrutiny when one West was convicted of felony sexual abuse against minors in Ohio. He was sentenced to nine years in an Ohio prison.

Law enforcement said flight records showed that Mast took over 30 flights from the U.S. to Haiti.
