President Donald Trump has stunned Washington by declaring he will terminate all documents, including pardons, that he claims were signed by his successor Joe Biden using an autopen device.

The autopen is a machine that precisely replicates a person's signature , often used by presidents of both parties for high-volume or ceremonial paperwork.

Trump and his allies have made various allegations that Biden's autopen use as president invalidated his actions or implied he was not fully aware of them. It remains unclear if Biden actually used an autopen for pardons.

"Anyone receiving 'Pardons,' 'Commutations,' or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect," Trump wrote on his Truth Social pla
